Presentation for Rehabilitation Center Skupnosti Srečanje in Vremski Britof

An amazing evening dedicated to cultural heritage took place at the Rehabilitation Center Skupnosti Srečanje in Vremski Britof, where the reconstruction of Školj Castle was presented.
The event was a way of thanking the voluntary work carried out at the castle site by members of Skupnosti Srečanje, together with Alen Novak and Matevž Gerželj.

In just two days, the group cleaned the area around Školj Castle, removed overgrown vegetation, pruned blackberry bushes, and significantly improved access to the ruins. Their work represented an important contribution to the preservation and visibility of the site, demonstrating how focused effort and cooperation can produce tangible results in a very short time.
The presentation itself was well received, with strong engagement from the audience. Participants showed interest in the history of Školj Castle, asked questions, and actively followed the reconstruction process.
Particularly notable was the sense of pride expressed by those involved in the cleanup work, who recognized the value of their contribution not only to the site, but also to the broader cultural heritage of Slovenia.

The event highlighted how initiative, commitment, and shared responsibility can positively impact both heritage preservation and community engagement, reinforcing the idea that meaningful change often begins with small but decisive actions.
