Exhibition of Haasberg Reconstruction at TIC Postojna – Slovenia
It was a truly special evening shared with people from different surrounding villages, especially from Planina and Postojna, who gathered to rediscover Haasberg Palace together. During the event, we presented the digital reconstruction of the palace, spoke about its history, its golden years, its dramatic fall, and most importantly, about why it deserves to be recovered.
The presentation was not only about architecture or research, but about identity, memory, and responsibility. Seeing the reactions of the audience while discovering how Haasberg once stood proudly in the valley was a powerful reminder of how deeply this place is still connected to the community. Conversations continued after the presentation, with reflections, questions, and shared thoughts about the future of the palace.
Tina Poljšak, Muzej Krasa, Občina Postojna, and TIC Postojna provided the space and organized the event to present this reconstruction and for their support in organizing and preparing the exhibition.
