In this occasion, we talked with Maruša Mele Pavlin for Radio 94 about Orehek Castle and its critical conditions. We talked about cultural heritage, its meaning and why it is important for the country and for each citizen. Also we did a comparison of the current bad situation of Slovenia's heritage and the differences with other countries, how do they respect their heritage and the differences that I'm learning on my trip from the Balcans through East Europe countries and along the Baltic nations.

Presentation of FKS10/ŠT Šteberk Castle in Cerknica
After a long and hard work, I have presented the reconstruction of Šteberk Castle.
I am very happy not only because of the results of my research, but very happy because many people attended to the event and they were extremely surprised to see their castle as it once was. After the presentation, we talked for a couple of hours more about their passion for this castle and about past facts which also could provide useful information to this reconstruction.
Many thanks to Marija Hribar, to Knjižnica Jožeta Udoviča Cerknica and to the people who assisted to this event. THANK YOU!
Presentation "Heritage: How to stop downfall" - Mlada Slovenija Ljubljana This time I talked about the importance of Cultural Heritage and how to stop its downfall. I have explained why buildings are collapsing and why do people, organizations and politicians don't take care of them, about laws, about a golden past, a sad present but a prosper future if we take care of them. I have compared Slovenia's current situation with other countries and talked about positive examples which could help us to recover our heritage. Many thanks to Federico Potočnik, to Mlada Slovenija and to the people who assisted to this event. THANK YOU!
On this link you can read the interview about Socerb Castle that Juan P. Maschio gave for Nataša Hlaj and Primorske Novice. The present conditions of Socerb Castle are really sad. This opens the discussion about how to protect the cultural heritage, about how the state should take care of it, the lack of respect from the tenant or owners, and the total lack of passion and control from the main organism which is in charge to supervise the heritage. This interview, probably it's a new page for the Slovenian heritage, a new page which could be part of a new and better chapter for our culture... Link to the interview
